Denys Colomb de Daunant

The Camargue inspired many great artists.

Denys Colomb de Daunant holds a privileged place amongst them. The Méjanes’s “neighbor” becomes the landlord of the Cacharel Domain in 1947.

Very well known for his most famous work, Crin blanc, he is mostly a fierce defender of the Camargue.

An artist and tremendous photograph. A friend dear to the Domaine de Méjanes with whom, Paul Ricard and Michèle Ricard, like to speak of art, culture, environment, and traditions.

Denys passed on his passion to his son Florian, just like Paul Ricard passed on to his daughter Michèle, his love for the land.
