In 2019, Michèle Ricard takes over the management of Méjanes. At the beginning of 2020, she spends the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic in her Domain. This very unusual time will allow her to “own back” her lands, “re-discover’ its treasures, to dream, imagine and plan a new destiny for Méjanes. The domain is ready to renew itself and look towards the future with Michèle Ricard always following her father Paul Ricard’s vision but putting her stamp on it.
One day, a great enthusiast of the domain confides to her that “Méjanes is to the Camargue what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris”.
Méjanes is literally and figuratively the heart of the Camargue. It is located in the Parc Naturel Régional de Camargue. Méjanes is mostly the work of all the important and anonymous figures that stepped their feet or hooves on the land. The ones that led the way so the new generations can keep the legend alive in our memories !
