The "Domaine de Méjanes"

Organise your stay in Méjanes

The estate has been open to the general public since the 1950s. Méjanes was the first in the Camargue to offer a whole range of activities designed to help visitors discover the region's culture.

Free access most of the year.

A museum dedicated to Paul Ricard, whose family has owned the estate since 1939 !

An unexpected experience in the footsteps of the great French entrepreneur. The Museum shop offers a collection of attractive souvenirs from the estate.

Comfortable, fully-equipped gîtes (rated between 4 and 5 stars) are available throughout the estate. Sleeping from 2 people in a caravan or maisonette to 16 people at the Château. All the gîtes on the estate can accommodate around fifty people.

Indoor and outdoor event facilities. Perfectly equipped for organising private or professional events.

Horse and pony riding.

The "Petit Train de Méjanes", a 3.5 km, 30-minute ride along the Vaccarès river that takes you as close as possible to the flora and fauna of the Camargue.

The 4,200-seat bullring (the largest private bullring in France), which hosts educational events, shows and the annual Rejon d'Or in July.

La Bergerie de Méjanes restaurant, located at the entrance to the estate. This legendary restaurant serves generous, tasty local cuisine from its slate of dishes, all prepared in-house.

The restaurant boasts a large, shady, flower-filled terrace overlooking a tree-lined pedestrian esplanade. The Salle Paul Ricard, comfortably furnished, is ideal for family meals or gatherings of friends around the fireplace. The Salle Espagnole, with its large fireplace and private terrace, can accommodate around 80 people. A screen and video projector are available for seminars and conferences.

The Salon Mirette Ricard, with its stage, can accommodate seminars or meals for up to 500 people. A stage, a small dressing room and private toilets are also available.

The restaurant Le Mazet de Vaccarès is located on the banks of the Étang du Vaccarès. An "institution" in the Camargue, with a taste of the "end of the world", it is open only at weekends (Friday to Sunday) and offers a unique menu based on fish and shellfish. Delicious and lovingly prepared by Christophe and his wife Muriel.

The kiosk set up on the Place des Arènes sells local produce.
