During the Second World War, Paul Ricard moved some of his staff to Méjanes. The Maison du Bayle or "gamekeeper's house" was built at this time. This house was home to the famous "Bernard", Paul Ricard's trusted gamekeeper, who would stop by to catch up with this colourful character as soon as he arrived on his estate. Bernard le Bayle also liked to ride his horse back to the La Bergerie restaurant located just opposite the house, to greet celebrities such as François Mitterrand, Picasso and Luis Mariano...
The Maison du Bayle has been completely renovated and fitted out very comfortably, with three bedrooms and two shower rooms, as well as a large living room and kitchen. A small private terrace overlooking the magnificent Paul Ricard esplanade lets you enjoy the beautiful light at the end of the day... and watch the white horses of the manade pass by morning and evening.
A fully restored and furnished house for 6 people, with a surface area of 80m2, located at the entrance to the estate, on the Paul Ricard esplanade, close to the La Bergerie restaurant and the Place des Arènes (horse riding, Petit Train de Méjanes, children's play area, etc.)
This gite also has a small terrace and a private courtyard where you can enjoy the view over the esplanade and the beautiful light.
The kitchen is integrated into the dining room and living room. This vast space is perfectly laid out, with a television, a large sofa, a dining table and a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, a hob, a microwave oven, etc.
